Make Your Own: Ketchup

This is just a quick, in-a-pinch recipe. I personally don’t really like ketchup, but I find this recipe less objectionable than others.

1 can organic tomato paste
2 tablespoons white vinegar
5 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
1 tablespoon molasses
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/4 cup water

Mix all the ingredients in a blender and pour into a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat until the ingredients reach the consistency of ketchup.
